The Editorial Bord of Suvremena Lingvistika invites authors to collaborate in the coming issue of the journal. The submission deadline is Sunday, the 1st of September 2013.

The Editorial board decided to extend the submission deadline for the 76th issue of Suvremena lingvistika to 1st of November.

Suvremena Lingvistika invites authors to collaborate in the coming issue (77/2014). The deadline for submitting articles is 1st April 2014. The issue will focus on following  topics: morphology, semantics, construction grammar, construction morphology, morphosyntax.

Suvremena lingvistika is one of the leading Croatian linguistic journals, which publishes scholarly articles and reviews from various linguistic fields and disciplines. It publishes primarily articles based on a clearly defined theoretical framework, with a precisely elaborated methodology which analyzes linguistic materials or discusses certain linguistic topics.

The journal welcomes articles from all linguistic disciplines.

Manuscripts may be submitted in English, French or German, and should be accompanied by an abstract of up to 10 lines written in the language of the article, an extended abstract (1,800 to 2,000 characters long) written in English (only articles written in French and German), and a list of relevant key words. There is no limit to the number of pages.

Manuscripts should be sent as e-mail attachments (Word documents only) both to Editor-in-Chief of Suvremena lingvistika Mislava Bertoša (mbertosaffzg.hr) and to Managing Editor Irena Zovko Dinković (izovkoffzg.hr).

The Croatian scientific journal Suvremena lingvistika (Contemporary Linguistics) is preparing a special thematic issue dedicated to topics pertaining to language and gender. This first ever special issue on language and gender among linguistic journals in Croatia will be co-edited by Dr Mislava Bertoša and Dr Tatjana Pišković, and present a comprehensive collection of contributions resulting from extensive research on the relation of language and gender.

The special issue is planned for the second half of 2018.

Submission deadline: August 1, 2018.
