The Croatian scientific journal Suvremena lingvistika (Contemporary Linguistics) is preparing a special thematic issue dedicated to topics pertaining to language and gender. This first ever special issue on language and gender among linguistic journals in Croatia will be co-edited by Dr Mislava Bertoša and Dr Tatjana Pišković, and present a comprehensive collection of contributions resulting from extensive research on the relation of language and gender.
The special issue is planned for the second half of 2018.
Submission deadline: August 1, 2018.
Suvremena lingvistika is one of the leading linguistics journals in Croatia. It publishes scholarly articles and reviews from various linguistic fields and disciplines. The journal is biannual and is indexed in prominent databases: ESCI (Emerging Sources Citation Index, WoS), MLA, BL, LLBA, EBSCO, CEEOL, ERIH, DOAJ.
